Just purchased a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, with the 3800 L36 in it, was wondering what some of you people out there have done to yours, to get a descent HP boost - preferably without blowing too much cash, or doing a GTP swap.

You should buy a car with the engine you want. It is very expensive to change engines, even if you do it yourself!
Trade it for what you really want or settle for what you have.
That is the only thing that makes any sense!

1st.. ram air intake . you can get one on ebay for like 20 bucks..
if you buy one from k&n. its gunna cost about 100..


& everytime you drive in it. turn the traction controll off. this gives you sum extra hp..

First off the person above me saying turning the traction control off gives u extra horsepower is bologna. You can do a high compression m90 supercharger swap. Or u can go turbo if u have the money. Basic things can be found at this website. zzperformance.com

Edit u wo not be dissapointed after modding ur engine l run 13 is with minimal mods on my buick probably less than 500 dollars minus the tuner. l ran stock with my gtx 14.6 quarter at 95 mph.
