My fiance is '97 Bonneville is drivers door handle does nothing when you try to open the door so I am pretty sure a new one will fix it as the inside handle still opens the door....BUT how the heck do they come out?Do l need to remove the inner panel or can they come out from the outside?

You will for sure have to remove the inside door panel. l broke my handle trying to get my door open in an ice storm. It works but is kind of hanging. l did not want to take the door panel off so l was able to get under the handle and zip strip it. Be careful with power windows and locks.
