That Pontiac was never regarded as GM is best. As you can tell, it is plagued by electrical problems. It will nickle n' dime you to death. Get rid of it and cut your losses. Get a used 05 or 06 Honda Civic. It will be a much better choice of a car compared to what you have. Just a suggestion.

l assume at times it wo not crank or starts and dies, There are a couple of things that could be wrong, The igntion cylinder is the most common, the Body Control module could also be at fault. You should bring this to your nearest dealer to have it properly diagnosed, It would be much easier selling your car if it is in good shape.

Do u just want to gripe, or r u looking for a fix? Has anyone looked at the car? Are any codes being set?
l took the opportunity to see if there were any common fixes l could just tell you, but without codes u could be in a number of different areas.
And BTW, although someone posted piles of 'evidence' that the Grand Am was a bad car, independent repair information suggests that there were some problems, but overall the Grang Am has minimal problems in some very key areas. Compare that with some 'Significant' problems with Honda (especially in the transmission area), & u will see that the grass is not always so green.
