l wanna put a intake into my car but l heard you cant put it with a supercharger?

Since the SSEi already has the supercharger, the intake is different from the regular 3.8ltr engines. Your supercharger is giving u increased intake pressure as it is, & off the top of my head, l can not think of anyone who sells an aftermarket intake for the supercharger. The idea of an aftermarket intake on a normally aspirated engine is to increase airflow. Your supercharger already pushes airflow beyond what u could get with an intake swap.

l would think that even if one was available, u would not see much in the way of gains from adding an aftermarket intake. The money would be better spent on the exhaust side, allowing ur engine to exhale better since its intake is already improved.

Edit: Doh! Baseballplayer22 could be right as well. For some reason l was thinking intake manifold & not air intake! Yes, u can put an aftermarket air intake-filter combo on ur SSEi, if that is what u r talking about, but remember not to lose ur Mass Airflow Sensor or the engine will not run correctly.

If your talking about a cold air intake then yes, you can. It might trip a check engine light though. so you might need a programmer.
