Anyone know a website who sells the four hood vents for the 2nd gen. trans ams? l remember seeing them somewhere just can not remember where. l am looking to get them somewhere brand new and unpainted. l am NOT talking about the ram air like the third generations have. The 2nd gen. GTA is have four vents on the hood.

First of all, there was no second gen GTA. Secondly, second Gen TAs (70 1/2-81) had shaker hoods. There was a Formula that had scoops, but there were only 2 of them on all the years l can remember, but something is sticking in my craw about that statement. l think you need to clarify your question a little.

Or maybe l misunderstand what you mean by 'vents'. Do you mean the air intakes at the back of the hood? Something else?

....a third gen T/A has four vents on the hood...umm 2nd gen had the two ''vent'' hood on the formula. Then there was the shaker, turbo hood, and the basic. Fourth Generation had a ''ram air'' hood..Sorry l am a bit confused.
