Get a book.
The general details are, pull the CV shafts, unhook the sensors, remove bolts from bell housing. Put new one in in reverse.

l have made it quick before and removed the cv-joint and pulled the tranny out of the wheel well, l have also came out of the hood with it. But l think the correct procedure is coming out the bottom.

you also have to support the engine when the trans is out

drop the k frame, unbolt the tranny from everything, lift the engine up(easier to pull engine out but dont have too) pull tranny out, put new one in, line everything, drop engine and bolt everything up + frame. mine took about 15 quarts of fliud to replace thats because of the torque converter

ok - go to autozone.com..on the sites main page type in your make, model, year and ta-dah! a free online, step-by-step guide for your vehile is listed. Just choose the repair area youve mentioned and l found that theyll usually have a very complete listing of the step by step repair process with diagrams/or photographs of what youll be working on.Good luck and best wishes!!
