1995 pontiac grand am power locks failed,how can i fix it

check the fuses in the car and under the hood that is the only thing that will effect more than 1 door at the same time

First check your fuses and make sure that they are all good. If the power lock switch on the passanger side works then you may have a bad switch on the drivers side. If you can hear the locks trying to work but they do not actualy move then you have a bad accuator which you should be able to pick up at a junk yard for cheap.

does the car have an aftermarket alarm? Sometimes the ''brain box'' goes bad and needs replacing. The lock actuators are probably fine. More likely it is a fuse or, like l said, the brain box of an aftermarket alarm. Even stock keyless entry uses a similar system. You might be better off to have a technician look at it if the fuses are OK.
