no they werent produced after 2002 but the chevy camaro is being re-produced now in limited numbers

No, the f-body(Camaro and Firebirds) was dis-continued back in 02. But, w/ the new concept Camaro coming back out the 1st qtr. of 09. The Firebird/TransAm may not be far behind it. Thro, there is no ferm plans to place the Firebird back into production. Car and Driver say it may just happen as early as 2010.

No, but according to a GM dealership they are suppose to re-release them with or not long after the new camaro is released.

No, not since the 2002 model year, and GM Chairman Bob Lutz has been quoted as saying that Pontiac will not produce a Firebird again. It is not in line with the image that GM wants associated with the Pontiac brand.
