lift points on 2005 pontiac grand prix

l need to know the best and safest lifting points for my 2005 Grand Prix for my oil changing. l change my own oil so l need to get the car around 10-12 inches off the ground in the front

If your car came with an owner manuel it should show you the exact lifting points in it. dont forget to use a jackstand when your under the car. it sucks when the car falls off of the jack.

Look at the jack, or the owners manual..

It will show you exactly where they are.

Right behind each front wheel, under the drivers door hinge, at the bottom of the car, there should be a lip with a ''notch'' there. THAT is the jacking point

You should just a set of ramps. THAT is the safest way.

l have an 02, and l looked in the book, the jack it uses should be placed just inside of the front rocker panel, just below the door, on mine there is a lip that the jack is designed to go into on each side of the car, but if your using a different jack look near the engine mounts.

Lift it by the frame, make sure you are lifting it on metal, and not a plastic bodykit or something else.
